I try really hard to make things nice in our home for Christmas, seeing as how I basically live for the Advent season. But sometimes things don't go as planned.
Despite my best efforts, these things occurred:

| Apparently there was a reason this 7 foot tree was only $10 at a garage sale. |

| Do not crowd the cookie pan, especially if the recipe called for 3 sticks of butter. |
 |
| Failed attempt to remove red-eye. |
 |
| If you decide to make a craft with tinsel glitter, wear gloves. Unless you like picking tiny shards of glitter out of your 6 month old's hair and eyebrows. |
